new paintings & prints

I've just added a bunch of glossy prints to my etsy shop as well as canvas mounted prints of my paintings.
They turned out so cool :) I used extra thick canvas so they are super chunky & I love them. I painted the sides black & added hand painted details to them. Then sealed it all in with gloss varnish. They are all available in my etsy shop & facebook page.

I've been painting painting painting~

I'm posting artwork on my facebook page all week at GREAT prices! I have made paintings on stretched canvas, ACEO's, mini paintings, chunky pages, and ornaments. The ornaments turned out so cute! I love them. The photos don't show the glittery eyelash fiber very well. It looks a little dull but in real life they are bright & sparkle bright! They are perfect for your Christmas Tree or a wall. watercolors

I've always been intimidated by watercolor paint. I love the look & I've always wanted to use them but they freak me out! I'm use to control. control. control. control. Watercolors don't work the same as acrylic or oil. I can make those do what I want. So.......I got brave...Pulled my paints out of the box & started. ggrrrrrrr....I threw away a lot. Then I realized it's not the paint. It's my brain. I need to let go. Colors running together, mixing & doing their thing is not a mistake. It's free! I need to free my brain & just go with it. So I stopped holding my breathe & just painted. Guess what??? I actually enjoyed myself & liked what I did! Then I pulled out my twinkling H2O paints. I bought during the summertime & never used them. Beautiful shimmering colors everywhere! Heavenly :)

My New Stamping Blog

I'm excited to finally share what I've been working on!!!
I've put together a new blog that is just for my love of stamping. As you all know, I have my own digi stamps. The cards & other projects I make with my own designs will be on there but I also share all I create with many other companies! This is my play blog & I'm so excited about it!
I love doing so many different things that it's hard to throw them all into one place & have it make much sense. So I'm dividing it up some :)
This blog will continue to be all I do in my art journal, atcs, mail art, paintings, drawings, etc....
The other will only be for things I've created with rubber stamps, acrylic stamps & digi stamps.

Frida Kahlo~Día de los Muertos

This is my newest painting Frida Kahlo~Día de los Muertos. It measures 12x12 on stretched canvas. I am so thrilled with this one! It's one of those paintings that I was completely absorbed into. Everything else around me faded out & it was just me & the paint! I went to bed feeling very calm & satisfied with myself :) I hope you all enjoy her :) I just posted her to my facebook page for auction. It will go until Sat. at midnight!
