It's been a long week of sorting, digging & moving crap out of my house. My friend & I have teamed up this weekend for a garage sale & I've forgotten how much work it takes to put one together. So today was our first day & like an idiot I didn't put on any sunblock. I'm the idiot poster child for what every Irish girl shouldn't do on a hot summer day.......
Anyway, I did do a little bit of artwork this last week but not much. Here are photos of my latest ATC's for trades & sale. Hope you all have an awesome weekend & don't forget the SUNBLOCK!!!!!

Henna Obsession

my new obsession is henna tattoos. I've been doing them on everyone I know. I've decided to put together a portfolio of all my work over the next 6 months or so & start booking parties & local summer festivals. Here are a couple I did on my sister last night & my niece today :)

My sister went in for her last session to finish her tattoo. I did the artwork & I'm so excited about the way it all turned out! It's weird to see it done & on her skin.....forever!!! It's the greatest compliment I've recieved that she would want my work on her permanently. I love my sis so much!

Digi Stamps!!!!!

I'm so excited to share a little insider info.......I've decided to put together a line of digi stamps. As many of you know, I had my own line of rubber stamps many years ago. So, I've decided to use some of my older designs & add tons of new ones with them :) Isn't that too cool!?!?!? I'm very excited that I can bring back the designs & papercrafting galleries of finished projects to share with you all. I love designing & card making so this is a way I can do it all in a format that I can handle with my busy life as mommy! Each digi stamp group will have many coordinating images & phrases or quotes to go with them as well as a special file of finished projects I've made with them. They will be in jpg format so they can each be resized to match your unique project! As before with my red rubber stamps, I will continue being an "angel" company so you will be able to create finished projects for sale. I love encouraging the artist in us all & it's nice to be able to make a little $$ on the side to support our crafting habits! If anyone has any questions or ideas for me I would love to hear them all. Maybe those of you that have experience using digital stamps have ideas of things you would like to see available as far as different file formats, galleries, patterns, etc......I would love to hear from you!

here are a few more items for the mixed media-a-thon I made a 4x6 "inspire" postcard & two fridge magnets that measure 2x2. I also worked on several ATC's but I didn't get the little details finished last night so I will post them this evening.

I decided to participate in the mixed media-a-thon on illustradedatcs.com a little late. It started on friday & goes until Sunday midnight. Everyone makes their cards & posts them to the thread & starts a trading frenzy. I'm afraid I came into it a little late & not sure if my cards will be traded tonite. I've posted them to the gallery as well so if they don't trade tonite they will be up for grabs on there! Hope to see some of you on there creating & trading tonite!!!

Had a fun time at my friend Connie's house today. Frustrating morning at home so it was awesome to escape for a little while! I attempted to attack the zetti style collage & I'm afraid to say I may just not have it in me. I really like it but my brain just wouldn't work that way :( I don't know if I should just forget about it or keep trying. Anyone have any great tips or sites to check out? I joined the zettiology group on flickr so I'm hoping to add my own creations soon. I must say....what I created today will NOT be making it to their gallery!

New Stamped Cards

Here are the new cards I made this last week. They are each hand stamped with black momento ink, colored with copic sketch markers, white gel pen & stardust glitter gel pen, on white bristol cardstock. Then I cut out the images & used pop dots do adhere them to the cards. Each card measures 5x7 & is blank on the inside. I used a bunch of different pattern papers & ribbons. Hope you like them :)

mermaid swap

I'm getting so excited for this swap. The deadline was a couple days ago but I'm extending it for just a little bit. There are a couple more sets coming from overseas that I'm waiting for. The cards that I've recieved so far are AWESOME!!! So.....it won't be long & I will post the video, swap them out & you all will get your pretty mermaids swimming your way :)

I had the most fun yesterday! I took my sister to the scrapbook store for her birthday & we cropped from 10am to midnight! I had such a good time with her. We use to do it all the time & now with kids & jobs & whatever it seems we just can never get away to do it.

I have some ideas going for some new youtube videos. Would anyone be interested in some mini scrapbook tutorials? I may even get brave & video myself talking! That would be a shocker. I've taught tons of classes at crops, scrapbook stores & retreats but for some reason I'm so nervous to make a video. Isn't that crazy?
