I like my last journal page so well, I decided to recreate it on a stretched canvas. I'm really happy with it. It measures 11x14 & there is a cool crackle paint texture in black & red on the edges. It's a little hard to see in the photo. I just posted it on ebay & we will see what happens!

I started this journal page in the car while waiting for my husband at the sporting goods store. I was really getting into it & didn't stop drawing after we started driving. I started getting car sick so I had to put it away & work on it later at home. I love the way it turned out. Jaime took me to Michaels tonite & bought me some new paints. I LOVE them! So fun to have new art supplies! I used matte medium & heart printed tissue paper over some spots & I like the result. I picked it up in the sale bin at the grocery store right after Valentine's day & just the other day I was thinking I most likely wouldn't ever use it. It would just be another "have to buy" item that sits for years. Now I'm glad I had it :)

I made my art journal the other night. I hate it when I get an idea in my head like this because it always hits me late & night. I can't go to bed because I would just lay there thinking about it all night. So...................I was us until 4am working on it. But, I love it :) Here is a scan of the first page I painted. Each page is made with a different pattern paper so it will be fun to let the colors & theme in the papers inspire the artwork I do. I'm an idiot & lost the charger to my digital camera so I can't take a big picture of the whole book. When I find it I will make a video showing each page & the covers.
