It's been a busy weekend with kids & I'm wiped out!
Saturday my girls & I went to my friend Connie's birthday party. Sunday we went to my sister's house for movies & artsy fartsy stuff. (Mostly we talked, laughed & ate junk food) I did get 10 ATCs made so I guess I didn't spend the whole time eating junk! LOL
we watched Step Brothers & Death at a Funeral. Both movies crack me up!

If you signed up for the mermaid atc swap don't forget.......Deadline is June 20 & if you are over seas it could take up to a couple weeks to get here. Usually it only takes a week but you never know for sure. If your cards are going to arrive late just let me know so I can wait for them. Please email me if you don't have my address at megansscraps@yahoo.com Just send your cards with an addressed envelope for your returns & I will take care of the postage :) thanks to all that are participating it's going to be a lot of fun. When all the cards are here I will make a little video of them & post it here on the blog!

I've had a very productive day. I did the line drawings last night & colored them with my copic markers this morning. I need a nap :)

new greeting cards

I'm having so much fun playing in my ink & rubber stamps! I burned out years ago from manufacturing stamps. I thought I would never want to touch them again. So glad I saved my favorites because I'm remembering now how much I loved doing this. I have ink all over my hands, paper scraps all over the floor & a stack of rubber stamps waiting to be cleaned.....HEAVEN!

I had so much fun this weekend. I pulled out a bunch of rubber stamps that I haven't even looked at for years & started playing. I went to the scrapbook store on Saturday with my friend Connie & our daughters for scrapbooking & card making. I got a pile done & had so much fun getting out of the house for awhile. :)

My busy weekend!

I had a busy weekend of scrapbooking. I made 16 mini albums!!! I had fun but I must say I'm sick of them & need to take a break! I posted them all on ebay & have already sold almost half.
I was happy I went through a box of stuff today. I found two charm bracelets that I had forgotten I made awhile ago. I also got them posted to ebay.
Then last night I made four ATC's.

Night Flying Angel

Got kids in bed last night & sat down to paint for awhile. I finished this one with a different crackle paint than I usually use & I'm not as happy with it. The crackles are too big. I like the other one that gives me really tiny fine crackles. I better go on a crackle paint hunt today & cross my fingers I find the one I want. DARN! ...you know all know how I HATE the art store! LOL

2 new folk art angel paintings

My two new paintings :) I'm on a Dr. Pepper & chocolate high & apparently that is good for the creative juices! I'm very productive & feeling creative today! Making new cards tonite for ebay & a couple to post on illustratedatcs.com for trade :)
I have several swaps I've signed up for & need to get moving on. The due dates are a little ways away so I'm not too stressed about them but maybe this week I will finish them & post them here to show you all.

I've been having an idea floating around my head all day.......
Would anyone be interested in a monthly themed ATC swap hosted by me through my blog? I will post the theme & give you a few weeks to have them done & mailed to me. Then I will make a slideshow gallery of everyone's cards & then swap them out. That way everyone can see all the cards in a group. It would be limited to just the people here so I'm sure in the beginning there won't be lots of people but hopefully would grow. Any thoughts??????
