Paintings On Facebook

I've neglected my blog for so long! It's seems every available moment in my life has been taken up by something or other!
I am running a bunch of sales on my facebook page right now. Check it out HERE

My New Stamping Blog

I'm excited to finally share what I've been working on!!!
I've put together a new blog that is just for my love of stamping. As you all know, I have my own digi stamps. The cards & other projects I make with my own designs will be on there but I also share all I create with many other companies! This is my play blog & I'm so excited about it!
I love doing so many different things that it's hard to throw them all into one place & have it make much sense. So I'm dividing it up some :)
This blog will continue to be all I do in my art journal, atcs, mail art, paintings, drawings, etc....
The other will only be for things I've created with rubber stamps, acrylic stamps & digi stamps.
I hope you all will check it out & follow!
XOXO-Megan

Frida Kahlo~Día de los Muertos

This is my newest painting Frida Kahlo~Día de los Muertos. It measures 12x12 on stretched canvas. I am so thrilled with this one! It's one of those paintings that I was completely absorbed into. Everything else around me faded out & it was just me & the paint! I went to bed feeling very calm & satisfied with myself :) I hope you all enjoy her :) I just posted her to my facebook page for auction. It will go until Sat. at midnight!

my saturday

It's been a weird day. Maybe I'm just weird. I've always been a very vivd dreamer & always remember them. I don't know if it is lack of sleep or stress but all week I've been having strange intense dreams. Last night took the cake. I slept in on purpose this morning in the hopes that I would catch up from my busy week & feel FABULOUS today! It didn't quite work out that way. I did sleep until noon but I woke up grouchy, angry & frustrated! It's like my agravating dream just carried through to my day. You would think that since I know it was all a dream I could shake it off & get on with it. Nope.........I'm a poop today....
I did finish up a couple little paintings that I had started yesterday. I struggled through them despite myself! LOL
I posted them to my etsy shop today along with a few new aceo's. The other day I also added a bunch of new digi stamps to my dilly beans blog.
I'm about to put on some comfy lazy pants & curl up in my bed with my zune and headphones. I'm going to drift off listening to my tunes & hopefully tomorrow I will wake up happy & ready for anything!
Goodnight :)

Beach Trip

FINALLY! I can load these photos. I've tried more times than I can count & kept getting an error!

we spent a week at the Oregon Coast in July. The hubbie & I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary. We had all the kids with us, my aunt Sydnee & 3 of her kids. My son Tyler brought his best friend John and the last couple days Sydnee's husband drove down also. It was so much fun & we look forward to this trip every year. My family has a beach house in Rockaway that my uncle shares with all of us. We all reserve our time & it is our favorite place to visit.

We scrapbooked in the kitchen together, played on the beach, went fishing & crabbing, train ride, candy store, bayfront bakery, Garibaldi days festival & tons more!

Back to school sale

I'm so overwhelmed right now! I'm freaking out a bit because the kiddos start school in a little over a week & I'm not ready at all. I don't know where the summer went. I know I'm in the same boat as most people but......being broke really sucks! The thought of taking all four kids out shopping is putting me in the nut house today! LOL! So....I'm having a big sale in my etsy shop for my "SCHOOL CLOTHES & SUPPLIES FUND" just use coupon code backtoschool at checkout and get 40% off any order over $30! just wanted to post a little update. I haven't fallen off the planet. I'm still here & all is good. Had a great vacation at the coast with my kiddos & hubbie as well as my BFF untie Sydnee & her kids. I've been trying to post photos & updates on here for weeks & keep getting an error. I'm not giving up but looks like there is maybe something wrong with blogger photo uploads. I will keep on trying :)

new paintings

Today has been quite productive so far. I don't know where this little burst of energy came from but I'm glad to have it! I swear I folded about 10 loads of laundry & washed a thousand dishes! Then I ran to the store & bought some groceries for the weekend. Had to rush through the chip isle to grab one of the last bags of salt & vinigar chips (yum! My favorite with cottage cheese) Looks like everyone is having BBQ and chips. The shelves were almost empty! Bought the new Red Riding Hood movie. So we are lounging around now watching the movies & I finished two 5x7 paintings I had started about a week ago. I'm on a roll!!! I might pull out my art journal in a little while :) Happy Saturday everyone!!!
